Educational Programs Overview

The Preserve provides on-site Georgia Standards of Excellence aligned environmental education programs for PreK-12th grade, emphasizing hands-on learning. Located on 70-acres in Bartow County, the property has not been timbered in over 80 years. With rolling hills characteristic of the area, the Preserve has a 9.5-acre lake that is a vital part of the habitat for native wildlife including deer, wild turkey, beaver, bobcat, turtle, bass, bream, and catfish. The main trail is 1.7 mi. with shorter trails available alone or to combine with the main trail for longer programs.
