This entertaining and educational hike will be lead by our local botanist Ed Bostick (retired KSU professor) and Preserve staff Missy Phillips and Lori Jewell. (No registration required.) It will include facts, tree lore, the science behind autumn color and native animal displays at the “Learning Shed.” The trail is a 1.5 mile loop with swinging bridge and switchback trails hand dug by local Charles Warlick of Switchback Trails. The hike will begin at the “Boardroom for Planet Earth”

Our entrance is via Douthit Bridge Road Off Hwy 61 (Dallas Hwy) near Paulding County line - 0 Vineyard Road - Cartersville, GA United States 30120
Directions:
From Hwy 75 take Cartersville Main Street Exit #288.
Turn west into Cartersville following Hwy 113/61.
Turn South onto Dallas Hwy (Hwy 61) for approx 3.4 miles.
Turn left onto Douthit Bridge Road.
Road will become skinnny at fork bear right .
Parking for this event will be in the old vineyard. “Boardroom for Planet Earth” is accessible from the bottom of the vineyard.
